LouAnn's road to success wasn't typical. She had started in rock and country clubs, where her talent even won a record deal. However, LouAnn's deeply-rooted faith prompted her to pivot her life's purpose from selling alcohol to spreading the Lord's word. Following a divine vision during a performance in Palm Desert, California, she forsook club singing, committed herself to writing and singing songs for God, and has never looked back.
Coming from humble beginnings with a family piano gifted by her grandmother Mimi, LouAnn's love for music and her bossy nature to make everyone sing along became the bedrock of her musical journey. Although her early years didn't include TV or radio, her friends' music collections became her sanctuary. Influenced by the poetic lyrics and beautiful melodies of bands like Chicago, Anne Murray, Amy Grant, Dan Fogelberg, and the unique blend of Motown and country, LouAnn pursued her passion for music at UTA in Arlington, Texas, where she received a full ride scholarship, graduated with a 3.9 grade point average, was named best musician, and most likely to succeed. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude, placing second in her class.
LouAnn is not only a talented musician but also an insightful author. Her Bible Study book, "Extravagant Love, How Will You Be Remembered?" along with its accompanying worship CD "Extravagant Worship," have found a home in over 400 churches in the U.S and more overseas, particularly in the Philippines. Released in 2020, the book explores characters' treatment of Jesus in the Bible before, on, and after the cross. Three #1 singles emerged from this project, reinforcing the profound impact of her musical and literary contributions.
In her career, LouAnn often draws strength from her faith to stay focused, especially when dealing with past traumas. She believes that her music heals her and brings solace to her listeners. This connection with her audience, coupled with her dedication to her divine assignment, is a testament to her perseverance.
Honored as Mother of The Year in the Philippines and a winner of several triathlons, LouAnn's achievements aren't just confined to music. Her influence has brought more than 37,000 people to Christ in the USA and overseas. As an Indie Artist, she boasts over 8 #1 singles on the radio charts, a few accolades from GMA as a songwriter, and features in Worship Leader Magazine. Her song "You Are My Ministry" was even recorded by Lisa Daggs on a Bill Gaither video.
LouAnn's music has not only resonated with audiences but also with fellow musicians in the industry. Her profound songwriting talent has attracted significant attention, with renowned artists like Crystal Lewis and Bryan Duncan choosing to record her compositions. This recognition by major artists further testifies to the depth of her lyrical prowess and her exceptional ability to create melodies that touch the heart.
